Flash Events Calendar Features

End User Features:

End User Notes Locally Stored For Privacy
Users can type notes into the date boxes for later viewing. All user notes are automatically saved
to the user's computer and can only be viewed on that computer. Users can make multiple copies in different folders for multiple users on the same computer. Each copy will save notes to it's folder.

Reminder Notes For Important Information
Users can create special Reminder notes. Just right-click on any date, and select "Add Reminder"
Reminder Notes appear in floating boxes over the date window. Reminders can be hidden or shown
as needed, and can be edited or deleted from the right-click menus.

Easily Search Notes With The Find Feature
Users can easily find notes or events by using the Find feature. Just type in the text to find,
then press the Find button. All date windows will be searched, and the first one found that
contains the search term(s) will open. Pressing the Find button again will open the next date
window, and so on till no more dates are found conatining the search terms.

Moveable, Resizeable, Date Windows
Click on any date, and once it has opened you can click and drag on the top bar to move it around.
Click and drag on the small box in the lower right corner of the date window to resize the date.
This allows simultaneous viewing of mutliple dates. Hold the SHIFT key and click anywhere
to close all open date windows and return them to their original place in the calendar.

Fully Customizeable Colors, Fonts, & Sizes
Users can customize the interface to the colors, fonts, and sizes they prefer. Normal dates, Event
dates, Reminder notes, and Buttons can all be customized to the end user's desires. Users can also
turn tool-tips on/off, and make the date windows tabbable.

No Complicated End User Installations
Can be used on the website, or users can save the Calendar to their computer for easy access.
No matter where the Calendar is, the Events will still load automatically from your website!

Set, Edit, & Delete Events All At Once
The Administrative interface allows you to easily set Events, edit and preview their information,
date, and length, or delete them, all from a single easy to use form.

Event Titles Appear In Event Date's Window
Craft eye catching Event Titles which will appear in the date they are scheduled for. The Event
Titles also appear in the list of events when no date windows with scheduled events are open.
Event Titles move to the top bar when the date window is opened, allowing users to enter notes
in the date box without interference from Event Titles or information.

Display JPEG Images or SWF Movies
Display a small banner image or SWF movie in the Event listing area to easily brand your Events!

Easily Create HTML/Plain Text Event Messages
Enter Flash compatible HTML formatted event messages and preview them instantly. HTML can
include images, lists, links, and more. See the Adobe/Flash website for a full list of supported tags.

Events Can Also Be Edited Via Text
"I Don't know HTML!" No problem. Plain Text Event messages can be added and will display in
the same Event window as HTML. Plain Text will be auto-formatted to fit the Event window.

Can Be Used With/Without Server-Side Scripts
The Administrative interface is designed to work with or without server-side scripting languages
such as PHP, Perl, ASP, etc. In the event your website is hosted on a server without access
to server-side scripting, you can save all event information to a plain text file. The event
text file only has to follow two formatting rules, and can easily be created by anyone regardless
of their computer or programming skills!
